> StorybookYou is a personalized children's picture book company. Simply choose a story, upload photos of the characters, and StorybookYou creates a fully illustrated storybook with them as the stars. Books are printed on premium materials and shipped in 7–10 days. Based in the United States.

StorybookYou turns a single photo into a custom-illustrated adventure storybook. Each book features the child (or loved one) as the star of the story, with illustrations generated from their uploaded photo. No payment is required to preview a storybook before purchasing. The company was founded by Jake Adler, who started the business after creating personalized storybook gifts for friends.

All photos are deleted after a customer's storybook is created. StorybookYou does not use or distribute a customer's uploaded photos in any manner except for the explicit purpose of creating their storybook.

## Founder and Team

StorybookYou was founded by Jake Adler in May 2025. Jake is a UVA graduate and participated in the Darden Business School Incubator. Since then, StorybookYou has moved to New York City, where all operations take place.
